NEW ELECTRONIC FILING AND SERVICE RULE

The Department of Labor hosted an informational webinar on June 23, 2022 on the enhancements to the Organization module and Delegated Access functionality to be released on July 1, 2022. The recording of the webinar can be accessed using the link below.
In response to feedback received from participants and to better support the changes in the Board's filing requirements, we have implemented several enhancements to leverage existing party data in EFS and streamline the request for access to appeals. Specifically, appealers now have the ability to search for parties within the EFS user database. To facilitate this process, the Board highly recommends utilizing this search feature to locate and automatically add the needed party information on your appeal, which eliminates the need for manual data entry.

Please note that an important update has been made regarding the ECAB filing process for all reconsideration orders on our website. Effective immediately, the reconsideration entries currently found under the “Briefs” dropdown have been relocated to the "Motions" dropdown for enhanced organization and ease of access. This change aims to streamline both the internal tracking and navigation process of all reconsideration filings. This is applicable to ECAB reconsideration filings only.
On Aug 17, 2022, the United States Department of Labor’s eFile and eServe system (EFS – efile.dol.gov) will release a new feature - Transfer cases from one account to another.
The feature will be available for individual users as well as users belonging to an organization. It will enable users to seamlessly transfer their cases from their current account to a new one under various situations such as, a change in their email address, change of organization's / law firm's name and email addresses, moving to a new organization / law firm.
