On Aug 17, 2022, the United States Department of Labor’s eFile and eServe system (EFS – efile.dol.gov) will release a new feature - Transfer cases from one account to another. 

The feature will be available for individual users as well as users belonging to an organization. It will enable users to seamlessly transfer their cases from their current account to a new one under various situations such as, a change in their email address, change of organization's / law firm's name and email addresses, moving to a new organization / law firm.

On July 01, 2022, the United States Department of Labor’s eFile and eServe system (EFS – efile.dol.gov) will release enhancements to the organization module and delegated access functionality in the system. These enhancements are in response to feedback from EFS users regarding the need to enable a law firm's legal staff to perform all functions related to electronic filing, accessing case files and served documents, on behalf of the attorneys.

Effective May 06, 2022, the United States Department of Labor’s eFile and eServe system (EFS – efile.dol.gov) will release enhanced e-mail notifications regarding cases before the Administrative Review Board (ARB), the Benefits Review Board (BRB), and the Employees’ Compensation Appeals Board (ECAB). These enhancements are in response to feedback from EFS users on how to improve the utility of e-mail notifications.

On February 25, 2021, the U.S. Department of Labor withdrew the Direct Final Rules requiring e-filing by represented parties before the Benefits Review Board and the Office of Administrative Law Judges.  See 86 Fed. Reg. 11425 (BRB) and 86 Fed. Reg. 11426 (OALJ).
